4/30 Thur

Too much to do today but I am still going to be in control of my food choices and hold myself accountable to everything I put in my mouth. Tomorow is Elise's birthday and I have to get ready for that!
Breakfast: 
2 pieces of wheat bread w/butter
applesauce
1 glass of water
Exercise: jog 20 min w/ friend to coffee shop & 20 min back
1 glass of water
snack/drink
americano w/white choc. & soy foam
Lunch:
2 glasses of water
sandwhich w/ 
cheese, olives, pickles, cucumbers, mayo, basil
(ran out of lunch meat!)
rice crackers

4/29 Wed

I had a paper due so I slacked this weekend on posting my food!
My goals I am thinking about right now:
Keep up on the water, choose to eat fruits or veggies more often- four a day..., post food even if it is just a bite!
So.... here's today's food journal:

I'm posting it now because I plan on not having anything else tonight!
Exercise: jog 1.5 miles at 8:30 pm

4/23 wed

Today was a hard day- I felt like my self control was not as strong today.  I was craving sugar.sugar.sugar.  I wish the struggle wasn't there with eating but it is, some days I am dealing temptation or no control every minute.  On those days I see food and I think I am hungry.  That is why I am posting what I eat right now so I can stay in control and hold myself accountable!

1:45  Lunch  After school (grabbed food to go because had to pick up Elise from deb's)
Taco time light chicken taco
small white chilli
2 glasses of water

3 pm snack
small cherry coke slurpee(yummy on this sunny day in Bellingham!)
1/4 bagel w/ butter
2 glasses of water

1 red potato before I served the kids their dinner

6pm Exercise soccer game- ran hard, got sweaty!
at least 2 glasses of water during my game

8 pm Late Dinner because of soccer

not enough fruit or veggies today but I'm working on eating only when I'm hungry right now!

4/19 sunday

I worked today from 7am -3 pm
7:30 am

8 am Breakfast
2 pkgs of instant organic oatmeal made with water
9 am Snack (funny thing to have at 9 but I have been up since 6, that's ok then right?!)
1 chocolate cookie  (they smelled so good at my work that i gave in! and it was so chewy and-yummy=)
2 glasses of water
1 c. applesauce (to keep me from eating another one of those freshly baked double chocolate chip cookies)
1:30 Lunch
1/2 deluxe burrito split with Zee from mi mexico=
Flour tortilla
Shredded chicken
Cheese, lettuce, guac, tomato, sour cream, onions
14 chips w/ salsa (would have eaten alot more it i weren't bloggin!)
2 glasses of water
(Did NOT eat any refried beans and rice- I probably would have if I wasn't posting my food on this blog!!)
4 pm  snack\

6 pm  dinner: (didn't know I'd be having mexican food for lunch and dinner!)
taco salad= (homemade)

three bites of the tortilla shell (they really aren't that good for you, especially if you eat the whole thing. you might as well as order something other than a salad if you are going to eat the shell!)
ground turkey w/ taco seasoning on it

fresh pieces of avocado
yah- I hit 9 glasses of water today-! As you can see I love applesauce;  When I don't know what to eat, it's what I choose.  For me it's sweet and I like it cold from the fridge!  You'll see later that I do many things with applesauce!
I  stopped myself at least four times today from eating something because I asked myself "Do I want to post this on my blog? " No. I wasn't hungry anyways- just my eyes were.
Exercise: Fast and sweaty  30 min. walk with hill w/ my neighbor  - 
I am really struggling working out right now.  I love the way I feel when I work out; it is just really hard   to make it a priority- but this blog will hold to me to do it (and it's fun with my neighbor)!  When I exercise I do it w/ intent.  I intend to get sweaty and get my heart pumpin! 

Healthy and In Control

ok- so I really want to loose my last ten pounds! I know I am not fat. And it really isn't about the 10 pound number; For me it is about making healthy food choices and exercising. When I am doing those two things I feel strong.  

So who's with me?.............
It doesn't matter if you have 5, 10, 15, 20, 30, 50 or more pounds to go- Just make a commitment. If you do want to take this challenge of getting healthy, you can reply with your update of your food or exercise on my daily posts.  It might help to put it in writing for everyone else to see and hold yourself accountable!

My commitment :

1) I am going to enter everyday on this blog what I've eaten
2) I am going to exercise 4 days a week- I am not going to set specific days because then I can be flexible in my busy life - but I will post when I do exercise
3) I am going to drink 6 glasses of water a day (I know i need more but I'd like to be realistic)



I will also post periodic pics of myself so I can see what my results are from a cameras point of view!
